Dear Violet
Dave and I were so sorry to hear of Ken's passing. It's been quite a few years since I last saw you, but I'll never forget how Dave put his faith in you, to take care of me, car wise, while my babies were so young, and he was on the road traveling. You, both, were also so supportive when I asked for your support while I was involved with the IWK Kermess. Your kindness and big smiles will always be remembered. Dear Vi and family,
Please accept our sincere condolences as you mourn the death of your beloved Ken. He will be great missed by you, his family, and by the many friends he made during his long and fulfilling life.
We have fond memories of Ken standing in front of our house in Parkdale subdivision waiting to pick up the children that you both lovingly took care of. They were fortunate indeed.

Violet: We were sorry to learn of Ken's passing. When Ted was still with us I would ask how Ken was doing. Ted's wish was to come home one more time to see us & Ken. I told him we would make sure he got to Cape Breton. Sorry Ted never got the chance. Please pass our sympathy along to Clay, Cherie and Cindy as well as Lil. You and the family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Mrs Butler, Clay, Cherie and Cindy,
I was saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Butler. Our families have been friends for many years. I cannot remember a time that I did not know the Butler family, first living behind us in the trail court and then across the street in Timberlea. Clay was my first friend as we started St.Andrew’s School together. I remember Cherie as my mother’s godchild and Cindy when you were born.
Mr. Butler was always proud of you all, he provided you with his hardworking, honest values, doing so with a gentle smile.
My heart felt condolences, Mr. Butler will always be remembered by the Scott family.
