To Mrs. Murphy's Family,
Your Mother was my grade seven teacher at Reserve District High School back in the 1967/1968 year. She was a gifted teacher and I remember her with great fondness. She always took the time to help anyone in anyway she could. Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss.
Having lived 2 houses away from the Murphy's while growing up, meant that I and my 2 sisters spent a lot of time in Laura Murphy's back yard, or passing through it to get to the Gardiners next door. Very sad to hear that she is gone, but fortunate to have known her. She was a classy lady and a valued friend of our family. Our condolences to the family.
Dear Murphy Family,
I read with sadness the news of your Mom's death. I remember her with great fondness as she was a substitute teacher with us as I was going to school in Reserve. All of us loved her as a good teacher, a smiling and kind lady. I extend my sympathies and condolences, care and concern, friendship and prayer. Unfortunately I am not able to express these sentiments more personally as I have other prior commitments tomorrow. But I will remember her at Mass and in prayer.
God bless you.

It was a pleasure to have Laura the last 4 years. Her family became extended family of our own. We will miss the daily visit of her boys . But most of all we will miss Laura's bright smile and her stories.
