Our best memories of Aunt Arlene were the summer trips we had visiting from Ontario. The knitted slippers were something I looked forward to each year not to mention her baking. Her molasses cookies and oatcakes were the best and to this day I still crave them. She introduced us to butterscotch pie and we were in heaven. She always had bread baking and she inspired me to bake. Her grin is something I will always remember. xo
